Customized One-On-One Coaching Services and Programs

Would you and your organization benefit from one or more of the following?

  • More focus on what's really important, rather than only on what's just urgent?
(If you take care of what's important, you'll avoid what's urgent.)
  • Less blaming for problems and more ownership in solving those problems?
  • More participation and commitment to get things done?
  • More relevant and realistic actions to get things done?
  • Reduced turnover and conflicts in the workplace?
  • More effective delegation and accountability in the workplace?
  • Reduced costs from increased productivity and reduced turnover?

Then you'd really benefit from coaching!

Coaching is providing structure, guidance and support for the client to:

  1. Take a complete look at their current state, including their assumptions and perceptions about their work, themselves and others.
  2. Set relevant and realistic goals, based on their own nature and needs.
  3. Take ongoing relevant and realistic actions toward reaching their goals.
  4. Learn from continuing to reflect on the coaching and the results of their actions.

There Are Already Many Coaching Services, So Why Hire Us?

Coaching a relatively new profession for many -- we started coaching in 1995. While many people consider coaching to be a "soft skill," we can very comfortably work with the "hard skills." Just take a quick look at our Free Management Library -- one of the world's largest collections of free resources for all types of applications in all types of organizations. You'll quickly notice that we are comfortable with almost every topic and activity in business.

Our consultants and coaches bring a variety of approaches to coaching -- we don't constrain our clients to using only one proprietary model or school of coaching. We realize that the approach to coaching depends very much on the nature and needs of the client.

We understand organizational development and change -- this is extremely important. This service is as much about guiding a company to develop its own internal, ongoing program as it is about providing coaching to employees -- it's about managing change. Thus, this service involves establishing a successful working relationship with several key players in the organization, and learning the company's culture, business goals and desired results from coaching. It involves clarifying who will be coached, how the coaching will be marketed internally, how coaching will be evaluated, how employees will be enrolled in the coaching, what resources will be required to support the coaching -- this service is about setting up a new successful internal program.

We've already customized very successful programs world-wide, including in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, India, Japan, China, Europe, Middle East and Africa. We will work with you to customize an internal program that specifies answers to the following -- we can provide lots of advice and material to answer these questions!

  • What business results should be accomplished with the coaching program? By when?
  • What measures can we monitor to ensure those results are being achieved?
  • Who will be the sponsor, or official contact, for the program?
  • Who should be served by the program? Who will be coached?
  • What is the culture of your organization -- how are decisions made and problems solved?
  • How will the people who get coached enter the program? Is it mandatory or volunteer?
  • How will those people be trained about the roles and nature of coaching?
  • How will we ensure the best match between the person and the coach?
  • Will the coaching program be integrated into an appropriate department, e.g., Human Resources?
  • What are the boundaries of confidentiality in the coaching? What will the company learn about what is being worked on and what learnings occur in the coaching?
  • What problems or pitfalls might occur in the program and how will be they be avoided or solved?
  • Will we start with a pilot, or a few people, from which to further customize the program?
  • Who will monitor implementation of the program?
  • What will implementation of the program cost?
